Today I'm cranky - at ALIA - the peak body for libraries in Australia. (Australian Libraries and Information Association).
Last year, we applied to their Libraries Design Award - but they said our libraries don't qualify....
This week is National Libraries Week - and it's also National Volunteers Week - which means it's a great time to remind ALIA that we have 1000+ Volunteer Librarians across Australia!!.
